French Enamel Varnish
This shellac-based varnish is formulated with selected dyes to produce a clear, even and totally transparent colour which will adhere to most surfaces.
Use
FEV has a range of uses including varnishing and staining wood in one application, colouring and 'taking down' props and scenery, as well as simulating stained glass effects on glass and Perspex. It can also be used for colouring low wattage bulbs. Clear mixing solution can be used to make up special colours and formulations or to thin down colours. The solvent for FEV is methylated spirits. FEV is intended for decorative or scenic use and are not permanent.
