Water-based brilliant colours in a complete range of theatrical colours. These paints are designed to maintain binder strength when diluted with substantial quantities of water. Rosco Supersaturated Paint is suitable for most scenic surfaces, including muslin, floorcloth, plastic and metal. Dries to a completely matt finish. We have successfully used this product to a dilution of 15:1 as a paint and at 25:1 as a bright translucent wash.

Museo aluminium stretcher bars stretchers are a museum grade aluminium wood composite bar 25mm deep. The wooden edge strip is made of laminated pine and allows easy stapling at the back of the canvas. These stretchers have a 7mm lip to raise the canvas away from the bars. The aluminium body gives excellent stability, making these bars completely resistant to warping. The strength of the aluminium also means that fewer cross-bars are needed to support the stretcher frame. The stretcher frame can be re-tensioned using an Allen key. Aluminium Stretcher Bars are supplied complete with corner fittings.

Aluminium Conservation Bars:
18 mm deep by 62 mm wide solid aluminium stretcher bars for professional and conservation use.
The heavy gauge aluminium has a much lower deflection than wood / aluminium composite bars, so the bars do not distort under tension.
The bars are fitted with a wooden strip at the back for securing the fabric and come supplied with all fittings.

The canvases are supplied complete with an elegant made-to-measure frame, easily removable for painting.

The canvases are 36mm deep, hand stretched up in our own heavyweight 12oz Acrylic Primed Cotton Duck, suitable for oil or acrylic paints. We use non-warping laminated wood stretcher bars.
The tray frame is 54mm deep and we give the canvas a 5mm shadow gap all around. The face of the frame is 12mm wide, and the obeche wood is ready to be painted, stained or waxed.
Frames are fixed to the rear of the canvas with pre-drilled holes and are easy to unfit.
