Stretched Canvas & Frame Sets are an economic and easy solution for framing works on canvas.
The canvases are supplied complete with an elegant made-to-measure frame, easily removable for painting.

The canvases are 36mm deep, hand stretched up in our own heavyweight 12oz Acrylic Primed Cotton Duck, suitable for oil or acrylic paints. We use non-warping laminated wood stretcher bars.
The tray frame is 54mm deep and we give the canvas a 5mm shadow gap all around. The face of the frame is 12mm wide, and the obeche wood is ready to be painted, stained or waxed.
Frames are fixed to the rear of the canvas with pre-drilled holes and are easy to unfit.

Flamex PA is a clear, un-pigmented additive for creating a flame retardant paint layer. Add one full jar of Flamex PA to a US gallon (3.79L) of water based paint to make your paint coating flame retardant. Flamex PA is compatible in most latex or vinyl acrylic paints but always test with your specific paint choice. Do not use Flamex PA with metallic paints as the metal pigments may react and tarnish or corrode. Flamex PA does NOT alter the flammability of the substrate being painted but only adds a retardant treatment that slows the spread of fire along the surface. Rosco Flamex PA has been pre-measured and should be added to a single US Gallon (3.78L) of paint. Once combined, the paint/Flamex mixture can be diluted as desired but the dry paint film must be no less than 4 mil in thickness. The effectiveness of a fire retardant barrier is dependent on both the fire retardant additive and the thickness of the coating. Dylon Pre-Dye removes colour from fabric so that it is suitable for dyeing to a lighter colour. Will treat all natural fabrics and nylon.

NOT suitable for wool or silk, polyester, acetate, acrylics or fabrics with special finishes.

Formulated for use in automatic front loading washing machines.

IMPORTANT – One box will treat up to 2.5kg of fabric – this is much more than a box of Machine Dye. If buying Machine Dyes as well, you only need one box of Pre-Dye for every 4 or 5 boxes of Machine Dye.
